Secondary Media Productions was founded in 2013 by David W. Sifferd III
while studying filmmaking at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, CA.

From a young age, I realized the power of multimedia & the potential for making positive changes in people’s lives. I started Secondary Media as a way to use my knowledge, training & understanding of Visual Story Telling to provide a means of effective communication for others.

After Los Angeles, I moved to New York where I cut my teeth tutoring others in film making & producing content for businesses large & small along with non-profits, churches, and individuals in the Hudson Valley.

After New York, it was off to Washington state where I took community involvement a step further by training with AmeriCorp working with local youth outreach programs, food banks & community centers- all while continuing to provide quality media production services to local clients.

In 2018 I transplanted to Traverse City, MI to be nearer to family before forming Secondary Media LLC in 2020. Since moving to Northern Michigan I’ve perused many personal creative projects & continued my mission to provide quality, effective content for a wide variety of customers from corporate clients to & residents, realtors, institutions & artists including but not limited to,
